As far as kaep goes it is very rare that one team holds all the power in negotiations other than top spot draft positions but thats where we are. We have the good fortune of cap space, another serviceable qb, and low expectations to hold onto kaep unless a team slips up and gives up too much
If not he competes in camp.
Either way kaep assumes all the risk.

Chip Kelly sees Dunbar as a Darren Sproles type of player (if healthy). Mismatch for LBs.
I agree. What's the problem with Dunbar? He's a fine #3 RB.
Wasnt he injured in October with knee ligaments. Sounds perfect for Baalke.

This is the stupidest and most annoying argument floating around the FA talk this year.
Everyone is completely glossing over the fact that the worst teams in the league are the ones who spend the most, because their teams have the furthest to go! OF COURSE THE PATS DIDN'T SPEND MUCH! They already have a SB roster! OF COURSE THE JAGS SPENT A TON! They have won few games in recent seasons and need to do something to try to improve their record.
Simplifying it "Amount spent and win %" is asinine and lazy

I think punters are getting over 8 mil a year today. Sounds like a bargain.

If Sanu doesn't sign in Atlanta and ends up in New England Brady will make him a star.

They're the worst teams in the league because they continue to spend so much and don't draft well.

It's not stupid. Those teams have to spend more because despite having top 10 pick after top 10 pick they draft losers and have to look outside the team to bring in proven players.
