True. Denver is in a bad spot lol. Elway bet on Osweiler coming back and it blew up in his face.

Cleveland still needs a QB too.

Denver is in Great Shape. All they need is a Decent just Decent QB and they wil be back in the Playoffs. Plent of middle end QBs will love to go there.

They're losing some key players (Jackson, Trevathan, Daniels) and a bunch of others will be a year older (Ware, Mathis). No guarantee they'll be back in the playoffs.

Nah, at that point it would be coming down to either spending money on players or handing it over to the NFLPA. Oakland for example had to spend a chunk of money this year or it would be lost to them.

Hey Phoenix, curious to know your thoughts on how the 49ers are going to field a much improved offensive line next season and status quo is not an option. They absolutely have to be better and I'm guessing you have the 49ers going defense early in the draft.

Lance Dunbar is a reaaaaallllyyyy good receiving back.

uh the 49ers need an OLINE and a Pass rusher. And Dunbar has a torn ACL/MCL
Yeah and the new league year hasn't even lasted a day. Rome wasn't built in a day.

Roman's didnt wait until all the marble was gone and decide limestone would work just as well....

You're that important.

The stats speak for themselves, 73rd and 74th ranked OG's by PFF doesn't mean they're good. Not sure if you're aware how their system works, but lower is better.

but but but PFF is a joke.

lololol. you trash the credibility of the PFF grading system when they low grade Marcus Peters but now that it fits your argument you stand by PFF's grades? c'mom man make up your mind.

Phoenix...I tend to be on the same page as you more often then not. But you can't honestly think adding Lance Dunbar and Larsen when we have $60M to spend is the best course of action. I think very few people want us spending crazy this offseason, but we absolutely should have been in the market for 1 or 2 players that could make an impact

It seems some people think not wasting all $60 million on FAs is equivalent to spending $5 million out of the 60 on scrubs.

A team that was 1 KC win away from a WC spot that has lost both their QB's, a starting DE and an ILB thus far.

Puff puff give man.

Need TE help and help at OT as well. Also could potentially lose CJ Anderson.

The best course of action is NOT to give dumb contracts to players who have come nowhere close to earning them. Vernon makes more than any other DE in the NFL in all 3 measurements of a contract.....

Let that sink in for a few moments
I like smith or Hayward at CB I don't think there are any good pass rushers left so if we draft a qb at pick 7 then the best we could do is what??? A second round or later pick at olb or de? Sad s**t.

As far as ol, there are still some ok guards left so we better get one or else make a Davis play a guard and put brown at RT. Tiller can play the other guard position this way we have our best 5 playing with Kilgore at center and Staley at lt.

The league year started 5 hours ago. Plenty of people on the market. The "marble" is by no means all gone. Who did you really want that was signed today?

Part of the reason the Raiders are going all in is probably because they can see the Broncos have been taken down a little.

Not Phoenix, but I'll throw out a projection. The return of Anthony Davis obviously helps. I wouldn't be shocked if Trent Brown slid down to guard either.

LT: Staley
LG: Tiller
C: Kilgore
RG: Brown
RT: Davis

I figure we'll add some depth and a potential starter or two over the next couple days (Larsen, Geoff Schwartz?) and then we'll address OL in the middle rounds.

You are too much. Blah blah blah. thats all we ever get from you. You know nothing. Denver just won a Super Bowl with a QB that had NO BUSINESS being employed last year let alone starting a Super Bowl and Osweiler isn't that good. Imagine if that ofense had a decent QB to match that Nasty Defense . Oh yeah and Elway is a heck of a GM. No doubt he will reload.

Let that sink in for a few moments

The salary cap goes up every year.

The amount of players per team stays the same every year.

That means that EVERY YEAR there are going to be players who make "the most in NFL history"

It is simple mathematics.
