Devey and Larsen are depth. Simmer down.

You're making a huge assumption right there considering the glaring hole we have at LG right now.

Well, an assumption is all I have until the final roster is announced.

Obvi.

The Raiders are using their cap space to highlight their new credibility; the 49ers are using theirs for... for... ? http://bayareane.ws/1R8petm

Explains why Jacksonville and Washington are two of the best teams in the league.

Wait....

Uh Washington is on the come and made the playoffs and the Jags are coming Hard and Fast. Better then the 49ers. Stop the homerish
Lol so much butt hurt, so many rustled jimmies. The same people b***hing about not signing somebody would be whining about overpaying. These deals today have been stupid. The only one I would have been okay with was the Brandon brooks contract. Other than that you are paying top five money for a scrub that doesn't significantly improve our roster.

Baalke is going to sign people chill out. They will be second tier guys on manageable contracts. He will trade kap for multiple picks and we will build through the draft. He does this every year, so stfu you knew this was coming, and if not you haven't been paying attention. Shame on you.

Re-signed Ian Williams.

Saw Denver become a realistic trade partner for CK.

Didn't spend ridiculous money on anyone

Remain in the race for Sean Smith.

Today has been a good day for SF.

oh please
Jacksonville will probably be improved. They were showing promise at the end of the year. They have a decent to good QB and have added quality players but I don't think Malik is as much of a game changer as Gibson. Malik benefitted from Wolfe, Miller and Ware.

And until the LG position is addressed with someone who can actually block a defensive lineman, my point stands.

Wait....

They aren't but we are now tiered in that group. Poor FO decisions and poor personnel moves.

The point was winning free agency rarely yields a positive result.

This. Who should the 49ers have signed that would have satisfied people?

Just Brandon Brooks for me.

Jaye Howard, Shelby?

We just signed Ian Williams to stay and play nose, and our NT only plays slightly more than half the snaps on defense anyway.

Shelby IMO is a better fit as a 4-3 DE.

Well if nothing else Baalke is setting the table nicely for when Gamble becomes the GM at year end.

Flush with cap space and draft picks.

Its like he hears the asking price of these FAs and hangs the phone up. So glad I got all excited for nothing.

Oh but wait.. we got Thad Lewis. Fu Baalke

#KCChiefs DT Jaye Howard gets $8.3M in guarantees, in his 2-year deal, source said
It really amazes me how dumb some people are. You guys know signing free agents is a 2 way street right?

RIGHT???

Nobody wants to come play for Mr York. No matter how much money we have, no matter how hard Baalke is trying, ain't nobody in their right mind gonna choose to play for SF

Sorry but that's the truth
