I know he'd be a big cap hit but we actually have a number of players now UFA on the defensive side of the ball. I think JRE and Skuta will test the market and likely get starter roles elswehere, I think we are likely to cut Brooks given his attitude and performance last season and he's quite a hit next year.
I don't know if we're going to see enough savings in free agency, cuts and retirements that would allow us to take a shot.
We won't be as stupid as the Redskins as long as Baalke is the GM in here.
And to be honest: anyone who seriously thinks about Suh, didn't get anything about Baalke and his work since he is our GM.
This.
Aw shuck - ain't got the bucks.
We'll still ddo very well w/out him.
The Raiders have lots of $$$$ to spend and I feel he'll go there.
Since he's from the North West he'd probably like to go to Seattle BUT they're also up against the cap and still have to sign Wilson who won't come cheap.

If he was willing to play for like $5 or $6 mil a year they could probably work it out, but that s**t ain't happening, dude is 28, this could be his last big contract and chance to cash in, so he gonna get paid.

If he leaves Detroit, Oakland is the only realistic destination for him IMO. Add him and Knighton to that defense, sign Crabtree and Lynch and the Raiders could be a playoff contender next season.............wow did I just write that?

Lol I don't see him going to oakland. I think he wants to win right away.
What's great about Suh is he can be a stud in a 3-4 or a 4-3 , he's just that good.

Give this guy the money he wants because he's worth every penny of it..
heck, if we gave a CB over $80 million, why not the 2nd Best DL in football aside Watts.

There is no way we are signing Suh. It's just laughable.
