Good stuff Gore_21

Cox would be a RFA, and Wilhoite a EFA(meaning he cant go anywhere else). Tolzien would also be a RFA. Cam Johnson would be a EFA, if he makes it.

Right now Cox, Wilhoite seem like locks on the 53 man roster this year. Tolzien is rocky, Johnson looks good.
Didn't Morrah already get cut?

Anquan Boldin - Needs to get resigned this season.
Jonathan Goodwin - Let him walk. Time to find the center of the future.
Donte Whitner - Safety market is soft in 2014. Assuming he remains solid, Whitner is going to be a top 3 safety in the FA class, and he'll be priced out of our market value for him.
Tarell Brown - I think he'll depart via free agency. Cox is really coming along well, and could take over for him.
Mario Manningham - We should be able to resign him for a 2 year deal. Keep the Crabtree, Boldin, Manningham trio.
Phil Dawson - As long as he performs, I'm sure we'll welcome him back on a 1 year deal.
Nnamdi Asomugha - Again, if he performs, he'll get a 2-3 year deal.
Colt McCoy - I think we let him walk. We could get a comp pick for him.
Tramain Brock - If Rogers is cut, I think we'll resign him.
Parys Haralson - If he doesn't mind being a role player with ST duties, we'll sign him for a 3 year deal.
Anthony Dixon - Bolts for a #2 gig.
Kyle Williams - If A.J. shows promise this year, I don't think we'll resign him.
Darcel McBath - He prob. won't make the team.
Marlon Moore - Once everyone is healthy, the WR corps get crowded. Jaguars or Vikings could go after him in 2014.
Cameron Moorah - Gone.
Demarcus Dobbs - Dependent on how Caradine and Dial perform.
Parrish Cox - Resigned for sure.
Chad Hall - Cut
Scott Tolzien - Cut/Traded
Will Takuafu - Dependent on how Caradine and Dial perform.
Michael Wilhoite - Great replacement for Larry Grant.
Cam Johnson - I think he may be gone.

Keep:

Boldin
Manningham
Dawson
Nnamdi
Cox (RFA)
Wilhoite(EFA)
Johnson(EFA) (If he makes team or PS)

Maybe Keep:

Haralson (Might get offers to start elsewhere)
Williams (Might get better offer elsewhere, plus crowded WR corps)
McCoy
Moore

Let go:

Tolzien
Dobbs
Tukuafu
Hall
McBath
Brock (We can be better at CB then Brock)
Dixon
Brown (Too much money to be kept, let him walk, and get a comp pick for him)
Goodwin (Kilgore is future at Center)
Whitner (Will get better deal then we will offer)

you're right. I missed Bruce.

The only guy on this list that has a chance of staying is Boldin. Otherwise, the team is going to see a huge turnover.

Priority Extensions this offseason:

Colin Kaepernick
Aldon Smith
Mike Iupati

These guys are at or near the top at their position and it would be ridiculous to let any of them go.

2nd Tier Extensions:

Michael Crabtree
Daniel Kilgore
Chris Culliver

Crabtree's year last year was fantastic, but if you make me choose between keeping him or keeping any of the three listed above, there is no doubt. I would much rather replace Crabtree than Aldon, Iupati or Kaep. Kilgore and Culliver have very good potential, but it may be a numbers game.

So, if we let all of the 2014 free agents walk, we will have three positions of dire need: CB, SS, and WR. The CBs left on the roster would be Cullier and Rogers. Rogers might get cut to help the extensions, so we will definitely be drafting 3-4 CBs. I don't see Whitner coming back, so I see them drafting a young SS in the first three rounds. The WR cupboard would be Crabtree and Baldwin (Harper is assumed to be a TE). Depending on the season he has, Moore could be brought back as well. The DBs and WRs are about to get very young.

It shouldn't be hard at all to extend Kilgore. As of yet, he hasn't started a game and still hasn't played that many snaps. If they like him as the center of the future, he can be brought back on a low contract. I'd consider Culliver a 2nd tier extension as he could be our #1 corner of the future. It will be interesting to see what they do to hold this group of corners together. Assuming everyone has a good year, tough decisions will have to be made. We might be able to get Crabtree for a lower number considering his injury history now. I think Harbaugh values the man who has the best hands he has ever seen. If Crabtree is reasonable, he should be back as well. If not, we have Patton waiting in the wings and can resign Boldin.
nvm

So here are the guys we no longer have to worry about: (12 Players)
Re-signed - Justin Smith
Cut - Tukuafu, Morrah, Tolzien, Hall, Hawkins, Collie, Osgood, Wallace, McBath (Injury Settlement)
Traded - Parys Haralson, Cam Johnson

Leaves Us With:
Re-sign (Depending On Play/Asking Price): Boldin, Dawson, Wilhoite, Cox, Manningham
Let Go: McCoy, Dobbs, Whitner, Goodwin, Brock, Wright, Asomugha, Dixon, Moore, Williams, Brown (Unless Friendly Deal)

Might be time to draft a kicker and get someone for the future although we like to use vets. Wilhoite and Cox I could go either way on. Manningham I think is the best out of Moore and Williams but would only re-sign if he is healthy and plays well. Time to save up to extend our future players and in the process get younger. Would be fine with letting everyone go except Boldin depending on his asking price. Just have to keep hitting in the draft.
