He was going to the place that gave him the most money, simple. The Redskins are great at throwing away money on guys that were or never were.

Fact is, RJF made more now than he would have made five - six weeks from now. He made the smart move and I'm thinking in some way, so did Washington. They need him more than the 49ers or any other team he interviewed.

I love how its couched as "49ers lose out on Ricky Jean Francois". What? How do we know they seriously tried in earnest to bring this guy back? They might have reached out to him, but lost out? I don't F'ing think so.
