Could see him coming in for a visit just because we need a guard. Also I was always ok with him when we had him back in the early 2000s.

we brought in Leonard Davis so bringing in Kosier makes a ton of sense, especially with Schwartz being a hot commodity now.

Is Schwartz really a hot commodity? I thought he'd end up coming at a decent price to whoever signed him. I'd really like to have him

I am much more excited to move forward with Daniel Kilgore.

That being said If he would come for a vet minimum contract, so it only counted 500 k against the cap, go for it.

he's got 4 or 5 teams going after him, Vikings are having him in for a visit on Monday and they have 2 G starting spots open, and I think a Tackle job open as well lol. I'd be shocked him gets out of Minnesota without at least an offer.

If he can get out of Minny, I'd be cool with him coming back. I always liked him when he was here. He would be a decent RG option.

We let him go for cheap because our GM at the time was really incompetent.

Now that Schwartz is going to the Vikings, Kosier could be worth a look if he's healthy. Everything I've read about him out of Dallas sounds like he's been a steady, experienced influence on their OL. He could be just the RG to work next to our young RT Davis for a year or two - Kilgore hopefully can take over then if not sooner. Here's something from Mar. 17 I just read on Kosier that shows he could be a good fit for our OL:
One of the good things about Kosier was his presence in the locker room. Several of the younger linemen relied on him this season for advice about playing the offensive line. He didn't talk with the media much, but his respect in the locker room and in the media was secure. You sometimes forgot about Kosier when Pro Bowls were being awarded to Leonard Davis, Andre Gurode and Flozell Adams over the years. Kosier was a steady presence who sometimes was overlooked.
