I guess moss will get fitted for his blue shirt. Can not wait to see that
Ballke and Harbaugh have a Patriots like approach with these players. Low risk, high reward type deals to supplement the roster. The team is locking up its core talent and taking a risk on guys like Moss, Edwards, Rogers, etc. on short term deals. If Moss is a head case, he gets cut. It's not like he's going to blow up the team. This is a GREAT move by a team that is a few offensive pieces away from being dominant.
Warning:

If Moss does not put up big numbers, he WILL start to tear the locker room apart. That is a %100 GUARANTEE. I don't care how sincere he sounds when BS'ing to Harbalke. He is an intelligent person. I'm sure he knows how to put on a show and say all the right things at the right time.
But people are like tea bags, only when the water gets hot, do you know what you really have.

If Moss does not put up numbers, he'll make Braylon Edwards and Michael Crabtree look like the President and CEO of the "Alex Smith fan club".

Randy Moss has a history of changing into a team player, the way Lucy has a history of holding footballs for Charlie Brown to kick.
Well, I guess if we keep throwing enough s___ against a wall, some of it is bound to stick.

for all you know, they already are.
So does this signing place the 49ers on "Superbowl or bust" mode in 2012?

...and he will promptly be cut and back home sitting on his ass watching the team play. Just like Edwards did.

Isn't that the same reason they cut braylon edwards and brought up a practice squad player? Signing moss has no risk

I hope we haven't finished with wide receivers, though. Need more.

Meachem or Garcon would make a bit more sense now.

But would like to add V-Jax or Colston

Moss is not TO, his beef with the patriots was with management more than any player in particular. Like it or not Moss's name will command attention from the defense, even with losing speed (now he's in the 4.4's haha) he is still so good at going up for the ball the DC is taking a risk if they leave him in single coverage. He knows what happened to Braylon last year and that Harbaugh will not hesitate to release a guy if his attitude begins to affect the team.
