Saints cut former pro bowl tackle Stinchcomb

Davis is a long ways from being a starter. Rachal is a disaster waiting to happen imo. Baalke and JH need to make a real shift to a FA or give Boone some serious reps.

i'll take mckinnie at rg over chila rachel

We're probably not going to keep more than nine linemen, probably with two inactive on game day.

Likely locks / Active list:
OT: Staley / Davis / Boone
OG: Iupati / Rachal / Snyder
OC: Goodwin

That leaves two open spots, either for reserves we don't want exposed to the practice squad or veteran depth. They could go with two interior guys since we'd have four guys with experience at OT, maybe Kilgore and Wragge or a vet like Sims or Stinchcomb plus a developmental player

what's funny?

The guy has been a solid player for the Saints and I don't see why if he was healthy why he wouldn't be able to start for us

For sure, if healthy we have to try and pick this guy up. The guy is well loved with the Saint players.
Sign him then trade him for Tom Brady

If he was healthy he probably wouldn't have been cut.

Why do you say that? He was very, very bad.
Free agent RT Jon Stinchcomb is currently seeing doctors about recovering from a torn quad, according to a Ravens official.

This helps explain why the 2009 Pro Bowler was cut by the Saints on Monday. Recent knee injuries and the lingering effects of this torn quad will keep interest in Stinchcomb muted.
