And to a contender too! Good for him.... Bad for us.

the Niners couldnt do 12 mil a year with 25 guaranteed???

Please. Who said the Niners didn't offer more than that? Maybe he wants to play for a good team that can go to the Super Bowl.

They have to say yes?

Why is it do you think they say no to this organization?.....

NO QB, strike 1
NO stability at HC, strike 2
Ownership has never won anything. strike 3

Because a lot of the reports coming in said we weren't really in it in the first place.

And Adalius Thomas doesn't want to move his family? I mean, you're holding that against the guy?! THAT is your reasoning behind why he didn't want to play for the 49ers and it's negative???

Not at all. I was just pointing out to the OP that sometimes it's not about the money. Some players just prefer to not play for certain team regardless of how much they're offered. And when we happen to be that team they don't want to play for, it's not the end of the world.
You can't be mad about the Niner office on this one. There's nothing we could have done unless you have a time machine and we picked Rodgers over Smith and built all the pieces perfectly around him afterwards.

Nnamdi wanted to go to Super Bowl contender. That's not us.

DRC, Babin, and Nnamdi to go with Philly's offense. Holy frickin sh*t. I'd still put Green Bay at the top, but Philly is breathing down their back hard.
I hate Philly

They do almost everything I want the 49ers to do. Get Nnamndi, draft Jackson, and replace Alex with Vick. No wonder they are always contenders unlike us, we haven't been over .500 in many many years. Freaking sad.

the Eagles new and unexperienced DC needs to be able to put the pieces together, though. he was their OL coach last year.

i also think GB is the team to beat, still.

Pretty much. You play for the Raiders for that long, and the only organizations that sound good are the ones with complete consistancy. In all reality we never stood a chance.

...but the "new DC" learned under one of the best ever. He is taking over a pretty well oiled machine that just needed a couple of new pieces.

Sean McDermott, the Eagles DC last year, did too and he was hot garbage. and the Eagles still have huge holes in their LB corp.

Don't forget the eagles are choke champions of the world.

I agree with Boast, GB is still top.
