Morgan may be OK, but I'm not content with just "OK" and neither should any of us. Like Patrick Willis said.. I am tired of losing, as are the rest of us fans. With that said, although I don't expect us to make a move for a WR, anyone think we could take a shot? There are some solid names out there that are available, including some recent/soon to be cuts. Of course, it's highly doubtful we get into a bidding war for any of the top names, but.. here's the list of available receivers that I wouldn't mind considering. 2011 Available Receivers: Roy Williams - Signed by Bears Steve Breaston - Signed by Chiefs Derrick Mason Plaxico Burress Mark Clayton Braylon Edwards Malcolm Floyd T.J. Just came back to post that. Wonder how much... I think he's an underrated WR.

He really produced pretty well along with Fitz despite absolutely horrendous QB play last year. This is a terrific signing by Kansas City. Takes even more pressure off of the already dominant Dwayne Bowe, and gives them a legit number two or high-level slot receiver.

KC has really improved their offense. Right now they've got...

RB - Charles, Thomas Jones, McCluster
WR - Bowe, Jon Baldwin, Breaston, Chris Chambers
TE - Moeaki (very good rookie last year for them)

If they can continue to build the defense -- specifically in stopping the run -- they'll be back in the playoffs.

That is a pretty good group. KC was legit last year but missed a little fire power.

Sidney Rice was the guy. But a day late and many dollars short it appears on that one. Vincent Jackson from the Chargers is great. Is he a FA? Or a restricted FA? I don't know with the new agreements and such.

The chargers tagged him. He'll be in San Diego at least another year.

James Jones would be an upgrade over Josh Morgan. He also has experience in the WCO. I hope Baalke offers him a contract.

Apparently we're in the market for a wide receiver.

Roy Williams and Edwards seem most likely, maybe even Mason. Outside of them, slim chances to sign include Owens and Burress, I'd think.
