If he can come back healthy, I'd sign him.

He's Restricted right ...

I'm not big on the football Jargon but I believe we'd have to give up a Pick or something to sign him.

Someone please explain.

RFA means that he is allowed to solicit offers from other teams, but before he can accept, his current team has the option to match the offer. Then if his team elects not to match the deal, they can receive a compensatory draft pick depending on the how big the offer is.

In this case, from what I hear from Giants fans, they want to retain Smith, especially now since they didn't land Plax

I doubt it'll happen. He'll end up with a team who starving for a receiver and willing to pay him above the market price.

That's us!!!! Oh wait, it is at least up to that last part.

because he had microfracture surgery we should be able to get him really cheap and then actually pay money for Malcolm Floyd I say we get both of them.

I agree with this. He is still young and will have a lot of years left. Gotta build for the future. Is a perfect receiver to play the slot.

Funny.. I could've sworn I've read this before

Yeah, I had De'Ja Vu that I had De'Ja Vu.

teams don't usually sign players who can't pass a physical...until that knee is ready to go he is likely going to sit on the market for another month.

would be a good way to take a low risk shot if we could get him at a discount

and possibly be stuck with an injured player? good idea. He can play ping pong with crabtree.

way to make a comment without understanding how things work....if he was injured still we could cut him...we would only have to pay the guaranteed money and when you are already injured im pretty sure all players get deals with heavy incentives rather than guaranteed money....very good idea...again that it what i mean when we would take a low risk shot at a good player
All he does is get open!

He is way under-estimated - grab him fast.
