where did all of Owens money go? I don't understand it at all, pretty sad seeing how desperate maybe he really is. He should also play in that new Indian football league coming out in 2012 too

I would bring T.O. in... we NEEEEED a big, strong, deep threat. That I swore was going to be Braylon Edwards. Before the game against the Seahags I said to my friend... THIS is where Braylon starts to pay off... he'll have a decent game today, against the Rams he'll get a bunch of playing time and I GUARENTEE in the playoffs he makes a BIG, MUST NEED play for us. Then he has his 1st catch and i'm like... OH YEA here we go. Then Alex's next pass to him, i'm sorry but either he ran the wrong route or that was Alex's worse pass in weeks b/c it was nowhere near him. Then the next time you hear him is b/c of a block in the back penatly which didn't need to be done that could have cost us the game. Instead of being 3rd and goal at the 1 it was 3rd and goal at the 11. After that I looked at my buddy and said, he might not be around to make that big play for us in the playoffs if he doesn't do something else this game. Sure enough, days later he gets the AX. Anyway my point is during the playoffs I see us holding the Saints to 20-23 points. I honestly do, (heck was it last year? or two years ago we lost to them by 3 points and that was only b/c they drove down the field at the end of the game and kicked a last second FG.) HOWEVER, we're going to NEED a big play receiver to compete with the Saints or Packers and I'm sorry but Hastings and Swain don't exactly strike fear into anyone.
Here's the reason I would bring in T.O.
1. As I said before, we need someone that's big, strong, and can go deep...
2. With Swain and Hastings playing, Crabtree will be double covered and Vernon Davis will have a good corner on him. There goes our mismatch with Davis on a Safety or LB and with Delanie out I would Imagine the other teams #1 CB covering Davis b/c Crabtree will be double teamed by the #2 and Safety.
3. He knows the West Coast offense. Now he might not know EVERYTHING but his work ethic has ALWAYS been second to none (he was taught by Jerry so we know this) T.O. will be ready to play and compete come playoffs... I say we AT LEAST take a look at him. How much damage can he do with (hopefully) 3 games left????
I'm sorry, In Harbaugh I trust but I think this is his 1 mistake this year... Hopefully its not his biggest. I'm just scared with Swain, Hastings even Williams and Ginn the defense will key on Crabtree and Davis... mark my words, losing Delanie Walker could be the biggest blow to our team all year. He does so much to keep the defense honest b/c of the mismatches he brings. I PRAY he comes back in time for the playoffs and doesn't miss a beat!! Any thoughts???

Good response guys, way to put some thought in it. If your going to answer with 1 word or even worse just try to be funny. Why even answer when you can clearly see someone's trying to be serious and put some thought into their thread. Just sayin.

There have already been at least a dozen of these threads already. Hence, the reaction. I'll merge this one.

Good idea.
For the record, if he wants to be a niner let him try out next season.

If he wants to hand out towel or water or something like that I have no problem with that.
Really though, I can't believe all the boy crushes in this thread. The guy's a chump who can't play at the highest level anymore, it's not that hard to figure out why teams haven't called him.

I'm sure he'll be back next year.....but after this news, I doubt he will put much more effort in trying to get signed somewhere.
