VD Tied the all time record for most TD's by a TE in one season.

He is kinda meh to the Packers as well. For a top 5 pick - he has been a disappointment.

no way. hawk is a ball hawk lol. he's more proven than bowman, and a lot younger than spikes. sorry but spikes is hurting us in the passing game, but then again it's not like hawk would help us out there. i wouldn't mind hawk. he's a gamer

spikes is great in coverage i don't know what you've been watching
my friend who is a huge packers fan always s**ts on AJ hawk...after hearing that i started watching hawk every game and realized he sucks major dick. misses every open field tackle

Exactly - Spikes is great in coverage.

When Spikes was replaced with Bowmen in the KC game, it was a total f*cking disaster. At least two of their big plays happened when Bowmen was in.

Think of the ripple of effect that would have had. If we picked Hawk that high, no way we would have P.Willy right now.

Bit off topic, but I wanted Ngata in that draft. Just like I'd like Peia (can't spell it - the kid from Oregon State) and Fua this year. Love the Iupati pick from last year. And think Soap is just fine. If the Niners were an all Samoan team, they'd tear up the league!

Here's a shocker: Packers cut LB A.J. Hawk today.

Keep in mind that AJ Hawk had $10.5 million escalator, so Packers wanted to clear it from their books. New deal still could be in line now.

RT @jasonjwilde I don't think this is necessarily the end of Hawk in GB. ... Nor do I. My hunch is he'll return with a new deal - soon.

Hes too ugly to play next to Willis..

seriously though, nothing special about him.. Hes an average LB

Think he'll be back with GB at some point; ILB not a big need for Niners. @mjl84 Think the Niners would be interested in AJ Hawk?
