AJ Hawk possible FA

I find little room to dispute this.
He'll restructure
Hawk would be nice. This guy isnt flashy, just solid.
I think bowman and spikes are better. Hawk is basically a derek smith. Gets some tackles but would be a downgrade.

uhhhh, why? Because he was a top 10 pick? The guy is very weak against the run and really doesnt cover well either. They signed Desmond Bishop to a 20 million dollar deal to basically take his place next year. Had Barnett not been injured, Hawk would have been watching the Superbowl from the sidelines. He's an average player. Hell, Id rather play an unproven Bowman over Hawk, at least he's still got some upside.

no way. hawk is a ball hawk lol. he's more proven than bowman, and a lot younger than spikes. sorry but spikes is hurting us in the passing game, but then again it's not like hawk would help us out there. i wouldn't mind hawk. he's a gamer

It's possible, but he's been generally average for Green Bay.

I echo the sentiment above about Desmond Bishop.
i'm still thankful green bay picked him at #5 that year so we could get VD

But Hawk is a 4-3 kinda LB.. he's not made to play the 3-4, especially our type of defense, where he 's gonna end up taking all the blockers so Willis can make the play..
it would be funny to have him, given the whole Hawk/Davis debate of that draft, but I don't really think there would be any point in signing him.

Think of the ripple of effect that would have had. If we picked Hawk that high, no way we would have P.Willy right now.
