They had a chance to draft this guy or sign him as a UDFA a couple of years ago. I don't know if this guy is another Cameron Wake.
There are a few players that will get serious NFL consideration. In my opinion the top four prospects from the CFL this year are: Emmanual Arceneaux - WR B.C. Lions, Chad Owens - return specialist Toronto Argonauts, S.J. Green - WR Montreal Alouettes, Jerrell Freeman-OLB Saskatchewan Roughriders, Phillip Hunt-OLB Winnipeg Bluebombers. All of these players are young and have a ton of potential. Unfortunately their will not be a Cam Wake type of impact player this year. Cam Wake is the best pass rusher I've seen in the CFL in my thirty plus years of watching.
You can thank the great Bill W for Jeff Garcia. I want to say it was the last thing he did with the niners before he moved on.
recently quite a few players from the bc lions have been sticking in the nfl, cam wake, stefan logan (rs for det lions), kris wilson (de for redskins), another rb philly has on a future contract is martell mallet, if we're talking pass rushers ricky foley is worth a look, was in seahawks camp last year and got cut, he replaced cam wake in bc and led the league in sacks signed with seattle and got cut and ended up last year on toronto i think

Phillip Hunt, from the league stats he had 16 sacks buts been dropped from the Browns and Bucs and had a tryout with the Patriots. I wouldnt mind taking a flyer on him.

Since I`m from (Toronto) Canada, I watch a ton of CFL during the summer. Chad Owens, on the Argos, is a f***ing stud. Great slot man, and soooo dangerous in the kick returning game. Could be a great help on special teams, and also can provide depth at slot WR.

I'm from saskatchewan and a slot back from our team named Andy Fantuz has had workouts with the Steelers and Vikings. He's 6'5 220 hands of glue, I've seen him lay out linebackers on crack back blocks in the run game. Big white guy lead the CFL in recieving and would be a Brandon Stokely/Joe Jurvicius type. Probably wouldn't be more then our 4th reciever but is worth looking at. Also our safety this year last name Patrick lead the league with 11 interceptions added more in the playoffs and played both ways in college as a safety and reciever so he's got some hands which lead to all those interceptions.

Not sure if there are any really dominant passrushers on our team. Cameron Wake almost won defensive player of the year this year in the NFL after winning that award twice in the CFL. Not any guys at his level anymore but the Colts signed one of our defensive ends last year Jon Chick.
