Ok, I know it's not sexy, but he did learn the WCO under Holmgren, who brought Wallace with him from Seattle to help implement his system in Cleveland. He is also used to tutoring young QB's (Colt McCoy).
Am I crazy? Let me rephrase...am I crazy for thinking this might happen?

He is a free agent according to Lynch.
'Also, if there's little time to get ready for the season, bringing in a free agent quarterback doesn't make much sense. Compounding the problem is the lack of talent on the potential free-agent market. Philadelphia is likely to sign Michael Vick at their first opportunity. That leaves Matt Hasselbeck, Marc Bulger, Seneca Wallace, Brady Quinn, Matt Moore and Trent Edwards as possibilities. With the exception of Hasselbeck, Carr is equal to or better than the rest of that group.'

Wow is Brady Quinn set to become a FA?? I'd love to see what Harbaugh could do with Quinn.

Besides the kid is absolutely awful. Some of the worst QB play Ive ever seen in my life was watching Quinn in 09. He couldnt even hold off Tebow as a backup. The guy has 24 inch arms. what does a QB need that for?
Ive always liked Wallace. I think hes the type of guy that if given the number 1 job and a whole preseason to prepare could easily get you to 9-7 or 8-8. hes not amazing but is more than solid.

The thought of the San Francisco 49ers considering Seneca Wallace as of being some substantial value to this team is not a good sign. Points to how bad the QB situation is.
Or as a writer noted yesterday, David Carr is now the starting QB.

I wouldn't want Carr leading this team across the street, let alone into the season. I hope he is cut or if we are lucky, we can trade him for a 7th rounder.
Wallace and Bulger are decent enough stop gaps. I doubt Seattle lets Hasselback go unless some team overpays.
