Good athlete and better passer than Troy Smith. I'd rather have him as a backup than Carr. I'd be happy if we signed him.

Seneca grew up in Rancho Cordova, so if he wants to play close to his hometown, his best bet is to sign with the Niners or Raiders. Al Davis would have a hard on for Seneca's speed.

He is a free agent according to Lynch.
'Also, if there's little time to get ready for the season, bringing in a free agent quarterback doesn't make much sense. Compounding the problem is the lack of talent on the potential free-agent market. Philadelphia is likely to sign Michael Vick at their first opportunity. That leaves Matt Hasselbeck, Marc Bulger, Seneca Wallace, Brady Quinn, Matt Moore and Trent Edwards as possibilities. With the exception of Hasselbeck, Carr is equal to or better than the rest of that group.'

Wow is Brady Quinn set to become a FA?? I'd love to see what Harbaugh could do with Quinn.
Besides the kid is absolutely awful. Some of the worst QB play Ive ever seen in my life was watching Quinn in 09. He couldnt even hold off Tebow as a backup. The guy has 24 inch arms. what does a QB need that for?
Ive always liked Wallace. I think hes the type of guy that if given the number 1 job and a whole preseason to prepare could easily get you to 9-7 or 8-8. hes not amazing but is more than solid.
Disagree on Quinn, could be a serviceable guy as a backup.

I don't think Wallace helps us in the short or long haul. I'd be looking somewhere else

Bulger did play for the other Harbaugh (well on the team anyway)...I wonder if that will count for anything? He's put up big numbers before, get him some protection see what you can do.

If worked with he could show a big improvement, unused 1st round talent can always be polished a bit.

Carr was a crash test dummy for years. Quinn doesn't have the mileage on him and can still be salvaged a bit.

They have Colt and Delhomme so Seneca may go. I would take him as #2 over Alex. I'm not sure why some want Brady Quinn. He's totally sucks.

Delhomme is garbage at this point, his only duty is to be a teaching player to Colt, which means he should be #3 on the depth chart.

I think Quinn showed good potential in week 6 against the Lions passing for 304 yards and week 8 against San Diego passing for 271 yards in 2009. Its not easy to be successful in Cleveland, very few QB's have been. I think its way to early to give up on Quinn, its not like hes had a bad attitude towards anything and has Ryan Leaf character. I just think hes needs better coaching.
