The New Orleans Saints have waived WR Montez Billings, OL Brandon Carter, Na'Shan Goddard and Jermey Parnell, LB Harry Coleman, CB Reggie Jones, FB Zak Keasey, TE Tyler Lorenzen, FS Chip Vaughn and DL DeMario Pressley and Jay Ross, Al Woods, according to NewOrleansSaints.com.
Wasn't Baalke targeting Woods in the draft, I wonder if we pick him up. RJF's boy could be a solid addition to the PS.
He was a 4th round pick

Just goes to show how good the Saints roster is. Seriously though, we should pick him up.

He ran that 108 TD on the Joe Nedney miss in Chicago... He was a good corner when he was younger. Lost a step since then, however.
YEAHHHH! Man...I remember now!

I"m cool with DB's that we have because we have some young and promising ones on the roster already.

Junior Siavii is an interesting prospect, that was starting to grow on that defense. Too bad we're pretty much set at D-line. If RJF didn't step up the way he has, I'd be all for it. That's why I wanna go with Al Woods, he has much more eligibility for the PS.

DL does look pretty sweet. But Since RJF can play anywhere on the DL, why not drop Demetric Evans, move RJF to LDE, and inplant Saivi ??

With the final cuts here, I'm sure there's gonna be threads on who we should pick up, and who got released. So I'll start!!!

Brandon McDonald-DB-Browns Sep. 4 - 12:22 pm et
Browns released CB Brandon McDonald.
McDonald started 27 of 48 games for the Browns over the past three seasons, yet he seemingly couldn't beat out Mike Adams. Look for him to resurface elsewhere.
Source: Cleveland Plain Dealer
I'd take him over James, hes much younger too. 8 picks in three years, we gotta take a chance on him.
I watch alot of Browns' games and this guy isn't that bad at all. I surely wouldn't be mad if we were to snag him up.
). But yah, I'd rather go with this young talent, than bring someone like Dre' Bly back. Although he wasn't too bad either, I just think if he works out, he could be on our roster longer than Bly.Originally posted by Kolohe:Originally posted by krizay:Originally posted by Kolohe:

I bet Mcdonald would even give Tarrell Brown a good run for his money. And Brock and Adams are serious question marks, not to mention he would come cheap.
