Well it sounds like Westbrook is going to sign with the Rams so, whats plan B?

we could have either westbrook or trade for lynch, but as u stated the rams are gonna sign westbrook and seattle will get lynch (if hes traded) and we will end up with some jerk off rb nobody has heard of unless ur a fan of a div 2 school in north dakota

Its up to Westbrook, not us where he goes.

obviously, but i get the sense we arent even gonna pursue him, if we showed the slightest bit of interest in him he'd sign with us and not the rams, both team got solid rb's so i think he'd come here for a better chance at the playoffs, but i dont think we're even trying
Willie Parker should be available at some point that is a good option - Barrows better scoop some dirt and soon.

It ain't over 'til it's over.

ESPN's Chris Mortensen predicts that free agent Brian Westbrook will sign with a team by Monday.

Mort mentions the Rams, Redskins, and Broncos as the likeliest choices, but also leaves open the possibility of a surprise team. The aforementioned three have shown interest in the 30-year-old all along, but he's held out for a better offer from a contender. The Titans and 49ers would both make some sense as competitive clubs that could use another viable passing-down option.

John Clayton reporting that Rams likely will sign former Eagles RB Brian Westbrook on Monday.

What about Willis McGahee? Gore would probably lobby for him too. He's past his prime I know but he was very reliable with the Ravens last year as a backup.

yep
Since I live in Maryland i see most of the Redskins games. Ladell Betts is a very underrated back and had over 1,000 yards in 2007 (i think) when he played all year when Portis was hurt. He would be a solid backup RB.
