as much as I would love Woodley, but if the CBA is agreed and the Tag stays, then he will be franchised.

Matt Hasselbeck for #2 QB or stop-gap QB if Smith succeeds or fails.

I'd have wood from March to January if we got Peyton Manning.

You shut your mouth and you shut it now. Get on your knees and pray to the football Gods!

Could you imagine if we did have Peyton Manning, there would be no, if, ands or buts about owning the NFC West. I think our defense was the only one in the NFC West to put up a fight against him in 2009.

And we wouldn't need an OC

LOL, and imagine how broken Indy would be?? I said it once and I'll say it again, Manning is the glue that holds that franchise together. But I wonder how he would feel about coming to a west coast team??? And you can be damn sure if Manning was set free to enter the market the Bills, Cleveland, Arizona and Oakland would all be burning villages for him.

If he hits the open market well if is tagged there will be a ton of teams wheeling and dealing with Indy. Let's face it, they will put the tag on him if no long term deal gets done.
A lot of teams will look to offer something to obtain his services, even Jerry Jones might consider sending Romo and some draft picks for Peyton. Indy will be in the drivers seat and have a chance to obtain a nice package for him but they won't be going anywhere until the QB situation is resolved.
The teams you mentioned might be some of the more interesting for them to deal with just because some of them (namely Buffalo and Cleveland) will have top 10 draft picks putting Indy in a position to draft a QB. However I could see Indy looking for an NFC team to deal with.

He's a life long Colt. Just like Tom Brady will be a life long Patriot.
