looks like the Chiefs locked up Greg Kelly. It seems like Franklin is running out of options. Not sure if I want him back though.

I agree - I'd have no problem with Franklin coming back, especially in another contract year.

Manny, Gholdson, and Franklin. All guys that totally overplayed their hands and totally overvalued their market value. Doh. Sucks when an average 1 good year Center gets top 5 money and you get squat.

There was so much talk about these guys even from the national media. I'm surprised they haven't signed with anyone yet. They are good players though, especially Franklin and Lawson. Not sold on Goldson.

Im surprised Franklin hasn't been picked up as he is a pretty good NT. I laugh on the inside when i think about Lawson and Goldson not getting much interest so far.

Why is there no talk from the 49ers about wanting Franklin to come back? It was just assumed he was leaving. Did he burn his bridges on the way out?

We could be weening Franklin, make him know he's not worth what he thinks he deserves, and then bring him back.

He really should be brought back because out of all our free agents he is the only one everyone seems to think is legit.
