his longest run is like 20 yards but he's quick through the holes. I seriously dont think Scott knows what will work for his team. Why have 3 rb's that do the same things, granted Fargas is shifty more like gore then coffee is. BUT none of them are edge threats or great receivers. I'll hold judgement till later because him coming in for a visit doesnt mean we're signing him. He may not leave KC tomorrow.

Not liking our chances of drafting Spiller :
bad move drafting spiller anyway
ive said this over 200 times
no need for a runningback in the first round
i agree we need a speed back for returns and such, but why not try to go for Dexter McCluster or Jahvid Best in the second round?
DB and Tackle first round
ive been saying same thing
bulaga/williams and earl thomas in first best if there in 2nd or mccluster in third
spoken like a poet
lets get it done.
you must only read poetry about the NFL Draft...

Since McClueless has been in sole charge are free agency pickups/ideas have been stellar

Fargas is not a bad back up, change of pace kinda guy.
Is he a fast guy? Even at his age now?
from the little I seen of him last year I think so. what is he 30?
Dunno, but he seems like the kinda guy who has been in the league 7 or so years.

Ignore my previous post, like I was saying I don't know much about mccluster but from what I've seen of best, he's fast, but he's nowhere near as shifty as Spiller. I just want a guy in the harvin/Hester role that can break your ankles and take it to the house every time he touches the ball. Spiller is the best at that and we have a chance to draft him. I would like to have the very best players sporting the niners uni.

No way we carry 5 backs.

sorry yall we dont need fargas. hes a decent back who runs hard never seems to take a play off i think he had his best year a season or 2 after rathman got there. however, he has some miles on his tread; hes not elusive at all even in space when its probably more advantageous to try to make a defender miss and and i dont remember seeing him being used in the passing game to much.
