thats 2 runningbacks out of 32 teams..congratulations

list goes on and on..
Per Adam Schefter: "Two sides to every story: Raiders said RB Justin Fargas flunked physical. Fargas says he's ready to play football today."

Looks like the Raiders was just looking for an excuse to release him.

I hope Fargas lands somewhere that will give him some carries. I think he can still play. Honestly, I think he was doing more for the Raiders than McFadden.

I wouldn't mind if we got him. He's better than Coffee IMO.

Hey, Tom Rathman has coached him. I wonder if the 49ers will be interested? I wouldn't mind Fargas if they would get rid of Michael Robinson. I've never liked project players. Often times, it never works out.

Looks like I might be on to something???

I don't like Fargas all that much. I don't know why him coming here is that big a deal. I would much rather have Spiller,Best, or even Joe McKnight over Fargas. I especially don't like us signing a Raider retread. I thought they were the ones that signed our retreads!

wow shows you know a lot! Fargas is a proven back. Has shown a lot of flashes on a crap team. McKnight sucks & will! Now Best & Spiller well.... TBD

Fargas is an average back on a team that sucks. He hasn't proven anything.Sure he showed some flashes but hasn't shown anything more over a whole season. Fargas' career reminds me of Derrick Loville's. Good spot player. I don't think Fargas has anything to add to the 49ers.He is not fast and McKnight would fit in better as a change of pace back than Fargas. I don't particularly like McKnight but I think he is the better option of the two as a change of pace back. If we were running straight I-formation than Fargas would be a better choice because McKnight is smaller and does not run with as much power. But, I assume we will be running alot of Shotgun.
