This is so f**king awesome, Zona's defensive nucleus is absolving, they haven't made huge action in FA, AND THEY'RE GONNA GET MEDIOCRE DRAFT PICKS!!!

Zona is getting overconfident if they think Matt Lionheart is gonna be able to get out of Breaston what Warner's arm/read-accuracy was able to do.

So it looks to me like Whisenhunt might finally transition the offense to his original intentions (ie, Steelers football).

What's going on with Dockett?

This is great news. Now with Arizona starting to fade, the Seahawks should be our only competition in the west. Especially if they land Marshall and draft Spiller or Buluga.

Let's see . . . Cardinals no longer have Kurt Warner & Anquan Boldin, and they'll probably lose Antrel Rolle & Karlos Dansby, too. Plus, Bertrand Berry retired! Its the 49ers division, now we have to take it!

Yup, took a calculated risk and it backfired. Knowing that they didn't plan on giving him a new deal I can't imagine that they expected to get a better offer.

good. Although it really won't affect the Cards much. They have a plethora of talent at WR.

On the flip side they likely now have the money to pony up to get Dockett resigned (and Alex likely has skid marks in his tighty whitey's), a returning 2nd round pick who never got to play to due to injury and 2 bargaining chips they could use on draft day to move up if needed and acquire guys they desire or add 2 extra bodies to their team.

Unfortunately it's still their division to lose since they are the NFC West champs, but I get what you are saying Pat. On paper they look weakened some but we still have 16 games of football to play
