Madden philosophy doesn't always work out but it did with Jared Allen. Jay Cutler....not so much.

I kind of agree that we should try and trade one of the 1st rd picks for an all pro player, and maybe use just 1 to draft ?

Gaither(sp) from the Ravens is available for a first. He's 24, proven in the league and played both LT and RT I believe.

Well to be fair, Jay Cutler wasn't any good before he was traded.

I'd probably trade or sign Dumerville to an offer sheet. Shoot I'd give up a 1st and 3rd for him.

except we woud have to give our 1st first round pick. it has to be your own pick.

Players I'd consider trading for
Gaither--1st round
Bethea--1st round
Boldin--3rd round (Cardinals are reportedly looking for a 3rd for him)
That's about it. I'd have to think twice on Bethea since we can go get Atogwe without giving up a draft pick.

Hmmm. Not that's another interesting proposal.
Excelled in a 3-4, why not continue it.

So tired of how players need to be a certain height, weight yah, but height, c'mon. Dumervil has the strength, leverage and speed, don't know bout McCloughan, but that's EVERYTHING I want in my pass-rushers.

Boldin for a 3rd?! That seems a little low... Crabtree, Boldin, Morgan? I would love that line-up. Draft Spiller too. So it's Gore/Spiller/Crabtree/Boldin/Morgan.

The Cardinals would not let a division rival have Anquan Boldin for a third round pick. Just because they're willing to let him go for a 3rd rounder doesn't mean they'd give him to us for a 3rd rounder. I can't believe that they are that stupid.

I can't believe the cards could have gotten a 1st a year ago and kept him. Now they want to jettison him for a 3rd. Way to go management.

If this did happen, it probably would not happen until draft day. It would depend on which OL have been drafted already, hence if all of McC's first round OL are taken, he may consider trading the pic for something.
