Doesn't surprise me, Green outplayed him in the playoffs.

Filed to ESPN: Thomas Jones will not be restructuring his contract with the Jets and will be released this week. He'll be a free agent March 5th.

49ers arent looking for an over 30 yr old RB. their looking for younger running backs, who may potentially be the successor to GORE.

Why does everything have to be for the 49ers? This is a general free agency topic. I posted it for infomation sake.

For any team that's thinking about going after one of these older RBs that have recently been released, I would think Jones is the top choice. I can see him continuing to run well for another year.

I agree with Tulini he was just listing info. Nothing to do with the 49ers, that's why its in the FA topic section.
