Sad that was his best season, what a joke. And he had the best TE in the NFC, one of the best RBs in the League, and a decent WR that only had a speedy WR ie Santana Moss. Alex is a joke, get real. The only thing that makes Alex halfway bareable is Jamarcus is across the bay and he's even worse.
so??? what the hell could gore do with that o-line? how did he help smith?
so because smith had davis, he should have throw about 30 TDs or sth? perhaps smith had crabtree for special moments, but that all. smith had not more than davis and a bad o-line...that isnt enough to perform well the whole time long. he did the best.
do u think that any other qb would it to so much better??? i dont think so...if you want to perform better, you have to have a better o-line and at least two good targets or a good target and a good running game...we had a bad o-line to run with. so forget about the running game...furthermore we had only davis as a permanent threat. crabtree was a rookie and alex didnt played for 2 years...

just for my nosiness: who do u want to play qb instead?

If we would of had Campbell we'd be coming off a our first Playoffs in 8 years that's all I know, he's good Alex isn't period. And Gore made the Pro Bowl even though he missed 3 games where you been... Better O-line A-Rod the guy who we should of taken in the first place had an awful O-line most sacks in the League and he was great, be real now come on.

vince young was at probowl, too...so what? a-rod had the opportunity to learn from one of the best QBs the last years...and he had two damn good receivers, a good and everytime effective RB and furthermore a good TE.
I didnt say that we have the next peyton manning but i dont see why we have to move on and with who...you said campbell??? no thx, the guy even cant recognize safety blitzes.

Campbell, Young, Kolb, maybe even Troy SMith for goodness sake are obviously better QB's, ALex is a joke, I just hope Scot and Sing realize that before we have the QB holding us back again.

i dont want to judge yong too soon but i am not so impressed by him so yet. i dont see in campbell a better qb than in alex. kolb showed some flashes of talent and yes, he could be better than smith but we wont get him. troy smith??? are u kidding me?

i ask one more time...who would you get for the starting job, if you really dumped alex? mcnabb????? yeah right.

I don't care if it's Troy Smith, Kolb, Campbell, Orton, etc. get someone who is at least decent unlike anybody on our roster right now. Maybe Troy is good who knows know one has given him a shot.
You dreamed it

in your head.

LOL. That pic is so freakin funny I would have never dreamed he would have fell to us at 10 that's for sure.

Right now I am dreaming of us getting a Mcnabb with a little Pepper on top of it (no homo)! that would take our quaterback position to the next level to go along with a strong running game. Then we could win with a strong running game which is what Mcnabb needs to win a superbowl. It's what Elway needed! He's know different than Elway! Sprinkle a little Pepper on top and our defense becomes a top 5 defense that we have not had since 1997! Add in there my mock draft of Anthony Davis and Brandon Graham and we will be in the superbowl with these four strategic moves! If you do not like it just give your opinion it wont hurt I promise you!

Fixed, .

3rd worst O-line in football, hah that's rich, our line wasn't even the worst in the freakin' division, it wasn't good, but don't get melodramatic. Jason Campbell had a worse line and still had a good year. That excuse BS is over, Alex is pathetic, I mean we get 5 freebies against the Bears Gore goes nuts we can't even get 14 points. And again Jason Campbell has had 4000 OC's and this year with a very bad line and still had a decent year. It's time to move on from Alex or we'll continue to be have a weakness at the most important position in football.
alex played 11 games, campbell 16. alex threw 18 TDs in that time, jason 20, alex was intercepted for 12 times, jason for 15.
that was alex' best season in his career and that after he had one more system to learn and was about 2 years out of football.
where are your arguments?

o k how the hell is vernen davis the best TE in nfl not related to alex smiths performace??/ is it a concidence that alex smiths comes back from injury that vernon davis has his breakout year?

Uh yeah we have, I'm sick of having jokesters for QB's, I mean we were more successful with Hill as our QB, then he flamed out and then we lost the Playoffs.

Best TE is Dallas Clark or VD, and the coincidence is VD got with the program and Mike Martz wasn't our OC anymore. VD has more GOD given talent then any TE in the League.

I'm not denying that Vernon Davis has best size speed and strength ratio in the whole league but u can't deny tht vernons production is directly coorelates qith alex's play he scored 3 Td in first 6gamea then exploded wen Alex is qb

I'm not saying Alex is the greatest or great but he I good and improving when had the chance and he has earned another season going in as a starter let's give him the chance he has earned

He's earned a spot as a back up at, best. Do you enjoy mediocrity? If so become a Jaguar fan. We had a good season before the moron stepped back into the fold and Hill started throwing blanks. I mean for goodness sake the 2nd time we played Zona we should of put up at least 30, it's just our QB was too dumb to do so, which is especially sad because the Cardinals secondary is a joke. And the Bear game my gosh our D is playing lights out as is Gore and Alex still can't do ish. Along with the rest of the season's junk he gave us. And do you know how easy it is to throw to a TE vs. uh WR's, put Alex on the Chargers and you'd see VJ and Floyd's production fall and Gates' stay right and steady. At this point I not opposed to Nate Davis starting cuz at least he has some hope for being the guy for the present and the future, instead of maybe the biggest draft bust in Niner history, and even though I supported Alex for all these years, I wanted A-Rod from the outset, so don't look at me.
