He'd be perfect for our team! A good run blocker, but terrible in pass protection! YIPPY!

Do you know anything about football or do you just bulls**t for your own entertainment?

Our line sucked too, so does that mean Staley is sucks?

It is possible to have to good lineman play on crappy lines.

you're right and after checking football focus I appeared to be wrong.

With that said. I'm not 100% sold on Staley at LT.

well the 49ers are sold on him at one of the T spots. he got a longterm deal, hes going to be starting for a while.

also, big fail to those who lumped Colon in with the Steelers bad OL this year. hes been outstanding. a pro bowl caliber player.

Staley's nothing to cream your pants about. He's.......alright.
This guy isn't that good I've watched him alot. And in 2008/2009 season I think he played worse than Synder.

Why not spend a 2nd though? I mean we are likely to draft and pay a shiz load of money to an unproven rookie lineman. I would rather pay a 2nd to the Steelers for a proven guy then take the chance on a rookie.

I agree with you in theory, but there is absolutely no way the Steelers let the best young piece of a bad OL go for a 2nd round selection imo.

They gave him the 1st round tender last year and this year they could have an additional franchise tag (depending on what happens with the CBA).
No.

After doing a bit more research on Colon I wouldn't want to spend a 2nd on him anyway. He allows much too much pressure and is deficient in the passing game. Let Pitt overpay the guy, and hopefully McC stays away.....
