I agree, I believe he has changed too. Its not 2001 anymore and Mouch and Garcia are no longer here either. Singletary will drop kick him if he does anything. I believe Owens would respect Singletary.

TO needs to comeback here and finish his career where it all started.

He would be a great addition to this team...and would give Crabs a good mentor to work with.

You can criticize his off field antics all you want....but TO always comes to play, is one of the league's hardest workers, and wants nothing more than to win.

the only question that i have is, if t.o. does come back how will it effect players who are trying to mold into their own? we have a pretty young squad already. players like crabtree, morgan, and hill. veterans do contribute what they know to help young buck succeed but you have players try to become out spoken and trying to take place with being a leader. will owens dethrone anyone or has he in past teams. dont really here much about alex smith molding into a out spoken leader. i know owens has not made that much noise recently but if you look at history, he pretty much puts pressure on qb's with presence alone. i know players have that competiveness to do better but there area also players dont fall good with pressure. i love owens and i would want him back any day for sure. do you really think we needs him back? i hated when i saw him go, which was the last year we even tasted superbowl hopes. ive been reading the webzone for two years and there is still so much to talk about this team.if i sound kind of off i apologize, just became an official member and will be a niners fan for life. let me know what you guys think

I'd love to see T.O. come back. He gets lots of grief for things that aren't his fault. The situation in San Fran was unravelling when he got here and everyone was on edge. He went to Philly and McNabb had his best year ever. T.O broke his ankle and made it back in time to put in a tremondous performance in the Super Bowl.

Romos's best years as a pro (except for this one) were when T.O was in Dallas. He was not the problem in that locker room, but he's easy to blame for it.

He's been meek as a mouse in Buffalo despite having a lousy QB and a lousy offense around him.

He could come back for a couple of years at a $2-3 million a year and still be effective. Heck we were paying Isaac Bruce $3 million a year for less production than T.O is getting in Buffalo.

Morgan has not proven to be a #2 still and this team lacks a WR who can truly stretch the field vertically, so yes WR should be considered a need. T.O. provides an upgrade, a mentor to our young WR's and a playmaker. His presences forces teams to not stack the box against us, and we have a coach who is no nonsense and will not put up with any antics if he ever decided to pull any which I don't think he will. Buffalo was the worst situation he has been in and he managed to keep his emotions in check.
