Oh, I bet someone signs him again before the end of the season.

True dat, I thought he would have ended up in Miami until they traded for Croyle

If he was willing to be the #2 QB, then Green Bay would be a good stop for him. They play a modified west coast type offense and there's a huge drop off between Aaron Rodgers and Matt Flynn. Couple that with their O-line looking horrible, and you've got the prescription for a #2 QB getting some serious work this season.

With the way Tampa has been playing it wouldn't be a shock if they bring him back. He could potentially end up in Miami too now that Pennington is out.

what ever happened to Brian Brohm???
God i would be so fired up to see Garcia on this team. That is who Nate Davis should be learning behind, he should not be watching this awful offense under Shaun Hill, in no way shape or form do i want Nate Davis to emulate anything Shaun Hill does, other than his ONE 80 yard drive a game that everyone gets on his NUTS about.

He had a great run that one season with the Eagles. I think this is a good signing for them and for Garcia. Other than on December 20 when the 9ers play the Beagles, I'll be rooting Garcia on.

Same here.....I hate the Beagles too, but I am still a Garcia fan. He was our last legit QB....we've actually had more talented signal callers since his departure, but no one with even half his heart or the guts to match.

Like who? Guy had a 4,000 yard season here, he made pro bowls. Prior to his departure we had more talented QBs, but definitely not after.

He was cut on the final cutdown day. The Packers selected him in the second round and they also selected Matt Flynn in the seventh round of the 2008 draft. Brohm was supposed to be their #2 QB and Flynn should have been lucky to make the final roster, but Flynn clearly outplayed Brohm every chance he had. Honestly, Brohm just doesn't look like he has it and I doubt that he's ever going to finds it, but he's on their practice squad right now, so the Pack haven't completely given up on him just yet. As for Flynn, he's a bit banged up right now, but I think he's going to develop into a solid #2 QB and maybe even a future starting QB. I can tell you this for certain, in regards to former LSU QBs, I think Flynn is going to have a much better and longer career than JaMarcus Russell.
Seahawks could use him?

Shaun Hill has basically the same stats as Matt Ryan. He's limiting turnovers, and he's making plays at crucial times.

Nate Davis is learning under Mike Johnson - QB coach, and that is the most important thing.

I am not one for jumping ship on S.Hill he had a bad game as the whole team did. With that said Jeff Garcia is without a job right now, if S.Hill continues to play bad as our schedule gets harder it will only be apparent we need to go in another direction. I for one am not comftorable with A.Smith taking over and we know N.Davis isn't ready. So why not we have a bye week sign Jeff Garcia make him a backup and if we need him we need him if not then he's good insurance.

At this point in this career, Jeff Garcia is not much better than Shaun Hill, and that's pretty sad.
