he's done
Oh, I bet someone signs him again before the end of the season.
True dat, I thought he would have ended up in Miami until they traded for Croyle
If he was willing to be the #2 QB, then Green Bay would be a good stop for him. They play a modified west coast type offense and there's a huge drop off between Aaron Rodgers and Matt Flynn. Couple that with their O-line looking horrible, and you've got the prescription for a #2 QB getting some serious work this season.
what ever happened to Brian Brohm???
He was cut on the final cutdown day. The Packers selected him in the second round and they also selected Matt Flynn in the seventh round of the 2008 draft. Brohm was supposed to be their #2 QB and Flynn should have been lucky to make the final roster, but Flynn clearly outplayed Brohm every chance he had. Honestly, Brohm just doesn't look like he has it and I doubt that he's ever going to finds it, but he's on their practice squad right now, so the Pack haven't completely given up on him just yet. As for Flynn, he's a bit banged up right now, but I think he's going to develop into a solid #2 QB and maybe even a future starting QB. I can tell you this for certain, in regards to former LSU QBs, I think Flynn is going to have a much better and longer career than JaMarcus Russell.
