agreed but he has more experience, is better moving around the pocket and getting rid of the ball. I'm not saying bring him in to be the savior I'm just saying bring him in for insurance because he's better than our current backups.

Garcia is looking better each day but I would like to give Alex a start or two before we go after Garcia.

Why everyone is so down Garcia I'll never know. He actually had a GOOD YEAR last year, he was just released because he clashed with the staff. The stats don't lie:

In the 12 games he started last year he threw for 2712 yards, 12 TD's, 6 int's, and had a QB rating of 90.

I like Hill and all, but I'd take Garcia over him (and Smith at this juncture) anyday.

I would love to see Garcia back in a Niners uniform especially if we want to play to WIN! Shawn Hill doesn't give us the best chance to win. Alex Smith is still a project and we're no where near giving Davis playing time. We're 3-2 coming out of our bye week and our defense is the reasoning for our success (except the Atl game). We need a change on offense, ultimately our offense is a joke except when Gore is healthy and randomly goes off. Our passing game has been absent all year, Garcia would give us that competitive edge we're missing throwing the ball.

Might be time to cut ties with Shaun and make this guy our back-up white Nate Davis continues to be groomed...GOTTA KEEP THIS TREAD ALIVE!!!

he could be the starter for about 5 NFL teams right now.
