test the free agency waters at all at RB? I don't know how outdated it is, but ESPN states that we signed Jamel White. I don't even see him on the current roster right now. Are these free agent RBS available? I wouldn't mind having Edge or Rudi for a fair price. Coffee is young and un-proven, period. MR is MR and Kory is young and un-proven too. Well it looks like McCloughan wasn't looking at my reply as we just signed a FB.

Maybe someone can explain to me why we need to be 3 deep (4 if you count MRob) at fullback during the preseason.

Your suggestion made perfect sense, use the roster spot for someone who can get afetr the QB, maybe we could strike gold.

I'm all for the FB position, FB is very important to our style of offense, but damn. It's not like Keasey had a chance in hell to make this team anyway, he was a finesse FB, a Martz style FB.

Good grief.

Keasey is hurt, Norris hasn't been playing, MRob is hurt, Miller is learning a new position.......is that enough reason to pick up a new guy for training camp?

Why not use Robinson as a FB too. After all he started there last year, but I guess I can see why they signed a new FB, Robinson is out with a groin injury.

What happened to that one dude last year....the pass rusher....i think his name was Louis Holmes.....

Why not bring him back? I remember a lot of this board really wanting him to make the team and being disappointed when he didn't.

He definetley has more pass rush moves than Lawson and could be a gem...

There isn't anything of value in a pass rusher floating around at this time of year. Every team is looking for more pass rush. They guys that are really going to get it done are already on teams. What is left are the dregs.

How about Najeh Davenport, ex-Cain should work well with Gore and single-back formations. I thought he looked pretty decent with Pittsburgh.

We have a choice here. Maybe grow our own talent, or look up the "whose washed up" list and sign one because 3 years ago they looked good.
