Favre to the vikings, contract agreed upon?

Peterson will get alot of touches, even with farve. best running back in the league and one of the top oline's, and Dline's. Speed and playmaking at wr. It's a better deal all they really need to push teams has been someone that keeps that 8th guy out the box. Farve's power solves the problem.
His rocket arm can get the deep ball to Bernard Berrian.

He will tank the Vikings season just like he tanked the Jets season last year.

and yet he is still a better QB than what the Vikings have, and they finished 10-7 last year with s**tty QB's

I'll bet money that the Vikings season goes down the drain because of him

Yep because they would be so much better off with Tarvaris Jackson, Sage Rosenfels and John David Booty at QB?

You obviously haven't watched Brett Favre play in the past year...

I watched every game last year with the Jets. He played very well until his injury. Obviously if he still isn't healthy than yes, he wouldn't be much help to the Vikings.
personally i think the Favre signing is a good one for Minnesota. It's definitely an upgrate. When healthy Favre can get the job done period! Now lasting a whole entire NFL season at his age could be difficult but he definitely will be an upgrade for the Vikes! Plus they have Adrien Peterson so he doesn't have to throw the ball 35-40 times in a game!

I was at the game week 17 against Miami and he was flat out awful

I'm not arguing that he was awful at the end of the season. He got injured during the Broncos game(week after the Jets beat the Titans) and went to crap. He threw 8 ints to 2 tds in the last 5 games trying to play through the injury.

Before that though he was the biggest reason the Jets were considered one of AFC's best teams at the time. At the time the Jets were 8-3 and he had 20td's to 12 ints.

like i said, if he's proven to be healthy he'll be a big boost for the Vikings. If he hasn't overcome the injury then I agree with you that he'd do more harm than good for the Vikings.
