Crzy...I think you changed the trade deadline to week 10, instead of 8. Week 8 got the most votes.

I changed it to November 6 or four days after week 8 ends which apparently is the earliest possible trading deadline.

Check the league that you're commish in. The earliest deadline is 11/6

Oh okay...never mind then. My bad, that's perfect then. Oh I want to see when I drafted Moreno and you drafted Moreno in my league...

I took him at 51 and you took him at 64.

Not a bad pickup. I should have taken Moreno in the earlier round. I've him in every league except mine. And it wasn't for you, I would have had him in mine too.

UPDATE: X-rays negative, Williams done for preseason

The Dallas Morning News cites two sources as saying X-rays on Roy E. Williams' shoulder/collarbone were negative.

Profootballtalk.com heard from multiple sources that the original diagnosis was a broken collarbone, and the X-rays "unexpectedly" came up negative. He'll undergo an MRI on Friday for a more complete diagnosis. According to ESPN.com, Williams isn't expected to play again the rest of the preseason. We'll have for Friday's update to get a good read on his Week 1 availability. Aug. 27 - 10:58 pm et

OMG. Just my luck.

ARLINGTON, Texas (AP)—Cowboys receiver Roy Williams did not break his shoulder during a collision with a teammate. He’s getting more tests and likely will not play the rest of the preseason.

Williams banged into cornerback Orlando Scandrick(notes) while going for a pass near the goal line Thursday night in a practice at the team’s new stadium. Players were wearing helmets but not pads, and Williams was slow to get up. He left the field angry because he had recent collisions with Scandrick that resulted in a sprained wrist and his helmet flying off.
Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Roy E. Williams (4) grimaces as head trainer Jim Maurer, right rear, and trainer Britt Brown, right front, check his left shoulder following a collision on the field with a teammate during drills at NFL football practice at the Cowboys' stadium Thursday, Aug. 27, 2009, in Arlington, Texas.

The Cowboys are counting on Williams to replace Terrell Owens(notes) as Tony Romo’s(notes) top target. Their remaining preseason games are Saturday night at home against San Francisco, then at Minnesota next week.

Good draft, peoples! When do we start the NBA?

Very soon within one or two weeks.

I haven't been paying attention the past couple weeks......who are the unsigned major free agents?

Iverson, David Lee, & Nate Robinson. The last two will almost certainly stay with the Knicks, and Iverson just got an offer from Memphis.

We could wait till 3rd week of september to start this. I think we started the last one around 20th sept. Right?

I love Week 3 of the preseason. It's basically a regular season game with all starters.

For 2 1/2 quarters, maybe.

Yup and I watched both games tonight.

Here are my impressions.

1) The Patriots are going to the Super Bowl. They're back.

2) The Packers have will have one of the best passing offenses in the league. Rodgers will be in the MVP conversation.

3) Beanie Wells will start over Tim Hightower by Week 3 lol. Wells impressed me with his runs.

4) Maroney still sucks.

5) Dom Capers has turned the Packers defense into a force. Wow. That's how you run a 3-4.

But then again, it's only preseason.....so it could mean nothing at all

It's not looking good for you.

Kurt Warner and Fitzgerald are playing against the San Francisco passing defense.

While Rivers plays against the tougher Oakland secondary on the road, where he sucked last year.
