Job one for writers or bloggers is to get people to read them and create buzz. Cohn does that. Howard Cosell was always controversial. On Tuesday after the Monday night football game he was often talked about more than the game itself. Some of the best writers in SF history were guys like Glenn Dickey and Ray Ratto. Both were loved by some and hated by many because they didn't just write nice things about the local teams.
Oh man, how I miss Ray Ratto. He was part of some Substack creation some years ago, and may stil be, but the rest of that Substack team were idiots. I could not unsubscribe fast enough from them. I wish Ratto would start his own Substack.
