He does? Spend FA money for someone to sit behind McCaffrey and Guerendo? I don't see it. Especially with the youth movement.

correct.

Love mason but you could pick up a late rounder/UDFA that may punch up.

Ya especially with Taylor back. We did tender Mason tho, so if a team does want him, we get another comp pick

Was a legit RB. I bet he thrives in KC

I love Eli Mitchell, but he can't even stay healthy long enough to get run into the ground.

Not a single RB on this team can stay healthy

I feel badly for Eli. Getting cut by the Patriots may be his final shot as a pro. He never could return from that knee injury. He just could not stay healthy. He reminds me somewhat of a 49er from long ago. Paul Hofer was the best thing going for the 49ers in the horrible years of 1977-1978. But he suffered a horrible knee injury against the Cowboys in 1980 and was never the same when he returned. The year that the 49ers won their first of five rings, Hofer would be placed on IR. He never got to carry the ball in a playoff game, or set foot on the field during the Super Bowl. He retired not long after. He reportedly does not have fond memories of Bill Walsh.
