Bryce Treggs ruled out against Broncos

WR Bryce Treggs, who had been having a very solid training camp, limped off of the field following a 25-yard catch from rookie QB Jeff Driskel during the San Francisco 49ers' preseason game against the Denver Broncos. Treggs injured his knee and has been ruled out for the game.

Quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo was a full participant in practice for the third consecutive day and will start on Sunday night against the Los Angeles Rams. He has been dealing with an ankle injury that forced him to miss two games before returning for a half this past weekend against the Miami Dolphins. Cornerback Emmanuel Moseley is attempting to return from a concussion after missing two games. He is listed as "questionable." He needs to pass one more step in the concussion protocol. The San Francisco 49ers are preparing for their Week 7 contest against the New England Patriots on Sunday at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts. Starting safeties Jaquiski Tartt and Jimmie Ward have been ruled out for Sunday. Tartt is dealing with a groin injury and has not practiced at all this week.
