St. Louis Rams WR Stedman Bailey is in stable condition at a South Florida hospital after reportedly being shot in the head late Tuesday. He is scheduled for surgery on Wednesday.
According to reports, the 25-year old was sitting in a car with three family members in Miami Gardens when another car pulled up and started opening fire. Bailey's cousin, who was driving the car, suffered life-threatening injuries.
Bailey is currently serving a four-game suspension for violating the NFL's substance abuse policy.
