Today, the San Francisco 49ers signed two players to their practice squad - WR Andrew Turzilli and C Brian Folkerts.
Earlier today, the Philadelphia Eagles signed OL Tanner Hawkinson from the 49ers' practice squad. On Saturday, the 49ers had promoted G Andrew Tiller to the active roster. These moves left two open spots on the practice squad.
Turzilli, who is 6-3 and 195 lbs, attended college at Rutgers and Kansas.
After Washburn, Folkerts spent time with the New Orleans Saints, San Jose SaberCats, and Carolina Panthers. He is 6-4 and 305 lbs.
