In a nod to nostalgia, the San Francisco 49ers will don their iconic throwback jerseys for Thursday night's Thanksgiving clash against the Seattle Seahawks. This classic uniform was
last seen in action on September 21 against the New York Giants, but notably, that game featured the home version of the throwback attire.
The upcoming Week 12 NFC West showdown will take place at Lumen Field, where the 49ers last showcased the road editions of these throwback jerseys during the regular-season meeting with the
Seahawks on December 15, 2022.
The throwback jerseys pay homage to the uniforms worn by the 1994 team during its memorable Super Bowl run. Those jerseys were actually a modernized version of the uniforms the Niners wore in 1955.
The 49ers will wear their throwbacks one more time this season, during their Christmas Day matchup against the Baltimore Ravens at Levi's Stadium.

49ers' Jauan Jennings criticizes Seahawks defenders for missed tackles on key play
San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Jauan Jennings only had one catch for seven yards on Thanksgiving night against the Seattle Seahawks, but it was a big one. Jennings is known for his uncanny ability to make things happen on third downs, and that's precisely what happened on that one play.
On a crucial 3rd-and-7 from Seattle's 25-yard line, Jennings received a pass from quarterback Brock Purdy. Initially appearing to be stopped short of the first-down marker, the receiver fought for the needed yards, causing some missed tackles and dragging rookie cornerback Devon Witherspoon along with him.

49ers bring in familiar face for workout amidst roster injuries
The San Francisco 49ers are turning to a familiar face for a workout following injuries to two safeties, Talanoa Hufanga and George Odum. Hufanga suffered a torn ACL in Week 11, while Odum sustained a torn biceps on Thanksgiving.
According to NFL Network's Tom Pelissero, veteran defensive back Anthony Averett will work out for the 49ers on Monday. Averett briefly joined San Francisco's roster during training camp in August but was released with an injury settlement on August 17.

Christian McCaffrey achieves milestone last seen with the 49ers by Frank Gore
Christian McCaffrey rushed for 1,139 yards last season, marking his third time surpassing 1,000 yards in his NFL career. Of course, he accomplished this feat during his time with the Carolina Panthers and San Francisco 49ers.
Entering Week 13, McCaffrey led the league with 939 rushing yards, requiring only 61 more to secure his fourth career season surpassing the 1,000-yard mark. He achieved this milestone in the third quarter against the Philadelphia Eagles, becoming the first 49ers running back to reach 1,000 rushing yards since Frank Gore did so in 2014 with 1,106 rushing yards.
McCaffrey was on pace for 1,451 rushing yards leading up to the game, a potential single-season career-high. Additionally, he was on track to rack up 2,052 all-purpose yards, which
