Wide receivers
Deebo Samuel and
Jauan Jennings have been ailing. Neither has practiced this week. Samuel is dealing with rib and knee injuries, while Jennings is working through a shin injury.
Both receivers participated in the 49ers' walk-through on Thursday but exited as their teammates started preparing for practice. Samuel left for the weight room and wasn't seen again by reporters. Jennings was seen getting some work on a side field.

The good news is that wide receiver
Brandon Aiyuk is trending towards playing. He has been limited in practices this week due to a shoulder injury but finally shed his blue no-contact jersey during Thursday's session. Aiyuk was among the 49ers'
inactive players against the New York Giants last week.
Head coach Kyle Shanahan joined KNBR on Thursday for his weekly radio interview and provided an update on his ailing receivers. It sounds like neither Samuel nor Jennings being available for Sunday's game against the Arizona Cardinals is a real possibility.
"Aiyuk was out there at practice today, but Deebo and Jauan weren't able to practice, and they'll be questionable for the game," Shanahan said on the "Tolbert and Copes" show. "I know we don't do that yet, but we'll see how they go tomorrow. But hopefully, they can get out tomorrow and give them a chance for Sunday."
The 49ers will release official game statuses after Friday's practice.

49ers Notebook: Deebo Samuel backs up the smack; Brock Purdy returns to scene of injury; Jauan Jennings beats his favorite team
It's not often that a player can back up copious amounts of trash talk the way Deebo Samuel did against the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday, but that's exactly what happened during the critical beatdown the 49ers unleashed on the Eagles at Lincoln Financial Field.
Samuel was among multiple 49ers players who expressed confidence over the offseason that the result in last season's NFC Championship game, won 31-7 by the Eagles, would have been different had quarterback Brock Purdy not suffered a season-ending elbow injury during the contest. No one was more vocal on that front than Samuel, who said things like "We lost because we played with ten people" while adding that the

The eagerly awaited Week 13 clash between the San Francisco 49ers and the Philadelphia Eagles is on the horizon. Following a Thanksgiving roasting of the Seattle Seahawks, the 49ers returned to the field on Monday for a bonus practice, gearing up for the NFC Championship Game rematch.
Wide receivers Deebo Samuel and Brandon Aiyuk addressed reporters after practice, downplaying the emotional significance of Sunday's showdown between NFC powerhouses. Both players, vocal about their disappointment after last season's devastating defeat, had previously suggested that the better team failed to come out on top.
Regarding the upcoming rematch, Samuel told reporters,
A.J. Brown calls on fans to troll Deebo Samuel ahead of 49ers-Eagles
While A.J. Brown and Deebo Samuel maintain a strong friendship, the Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver is injecting some friendly banter into the mix ahead of the highly anticipated Week 13 showdown between the San Francisco 49ers and the Eagles.
Brown has declared it "troll [Deebo Samuel] week," urging Eagles fans to engage with the star 49ers player ahead of this crucial matchup.
Eagle fans… it's troll @19problemz week. You have my permission. 🤣
"May the best team win": Deebo Samuel anticipates exciting 49ers-Eagles matchup
This Sunday features one of the most anticipated matchups of the season. The San Francisco 49ers (8-3) will travel to face the Philadelphia Eagles (10-1) in a rematch of last season's NFC Championship Game. The Eagles are riding a five-game winning streak, while the 49ers have won three straight since stumbling through October.
Fans have had the Week 13 matchup circled on their calendars since the schedule was released in May.
"We know everybody's going to be riled up for this game, and we just got to stay level-headed and just go out there and play Niner football," wide receiver Deebo Samuel told Kay Adams on Tuesday morning.
Any loss leaves a bitter taste, but a playoff loss is particularly devastating. Samuel, who has been to the NFC Championship
