Last week, defensive end Nick Bosa, fullback Kyle Juszczyk, and tackle Trent Williams were the only San Francisco 49ers players leading their position groups with the highest number of Pro Bowl votes in the NFC. Three of their teammates joined them this week. They are running back Christian McCaffrey, tight end George Kittle, and linebacker Fred Warner.
#49ers lead all NFL teams in Pro Bowl votes earned.
Here are the Niners who lead their NFC positions:
Nick Bosa, 239,151 votes

Kyle Juszczyk, 227,484
Christian McCaffrey, 205,990
George Kittle, 201,905
Fred Warner, 149,521
Trent Williams, 134,491
No team has earned more votes than the 49ers. That indicates a recent vote surge for the Bay Area squad's players. The Minnesota Vikings were the top vote-getters last week. It doesn't hurt that San Francisco has won seven consecutive games, doing so with a rookie quarterback at the helm of the offense.
It was odd that the league's top-ranked defense was represented by only one defender—Bosa—before this week. Warner's climb to the top of the NFC linebacker group is a welcome addition.
Fan voting ended on Thursday, December 15. NFL Network will announce the AFC and NFC player rosters for the Pro Bowl Games on Wednesday, December 21, at 5 p.m. PT.
The consensus votes of fans, players, and coaches determine roster selections. Each group's vote counts one-third toward determining the 88 Pro Bowl players.
The 2023 Pro Bowl Games will be a week-long celebration of AFC vs. NFC competitions that culminates in a flag football game at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas on Sunday, February 5.
