is toughing it out despite dealing with a pretty uncomfortable injury, playing in Sunday's NFC Championship Game. The offensive lineman is active against the Los Angeles Rams but told NFL Media's Stacey Dales during pregame warmups that he's dealing with a Grade 2, high-ankle sprain,
per Pro Football Talk.
"That essentially means he's dealing with a partial tear within the ankle," wrote Myles Simmons of Pro Football Talk.
Williams did not practice this past week, was listed as "questionable" for Sunday's game and was considered a game-time decision.
Kickoff between the 49ers and Rams is scheduled for 3:40 p.m. PT. A return to SoFi Stadium in two weeks for Super Bowl LVI is on the line.

The San Francisco 49ers announced the signing of wide receiver Trent Taylor to a one-year deal, reuniting with the team's former fifth-round draft pick out of Louisiana Tech.
Matt Maiocco of NBC Sports Bay Area was the first to report that the 49ers were discussing a potential reunion with Taylor. The receiver was part of head coach Kyle Shanahan and general manager John Lynch's first draft class in 2017 and spent his first four NFL seasons with the team.
