San Francisco 49ers quarterback Trey Lance has been nominated for his first Pepsi Zero Sugar NFL Rookie of the Week Award. The nomination comes after the Niners' 23-7 Week 17 home win over the Houston Texans, Lance's second career start. This is the 49ers rookie's first league-sponsored award nomination. Lance completed 16 of 23 pass attempts for 249 yards, two touchdowns, one interception, and a passer rating of 116.0. He also added eight carries for 31 yards on the ground.
