The San Francisco 49ers have announced the following roster moves ahead of tomorrow night's Week 3 matchup against the Green Bay Packers.
Activated from the practice squad
Placed on injured reserve
Givens and Hasty were injured during the 49ers' Week 2 victory over the Philadelphia Eagles. Both suffered ankle injuries but could return later this season.
San Francisco enters the game with a 2-0 record while Green Bay is 1-1. Kickoff between the two teams is scheduled for 5:20 p.m. from Levi's Stadium. The home-team Niners are currently favored by 3.5 points.

The San Francisco 49ers have placed tight end Jordan Matthews on season-ending injured reserve, per the NFL's transaction wire. It was revealed that Matthews suffered a torn ACL during Monday's practice. He was later seen on crutches at the team facility.
According to Aaron Wilson of Pro Football Network, the team also worked out three players. They are offensive linemen Jordan Mills, Tyree St. Louis, and Caleb Benenoch.
