The San Francisco 49ers may be getting back to full strength as the team prepares for its Week 1 matchup against the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday. The 49ers won't begin issuing practice participation reports until Wednesday. Until then, here is what reporters noticed at the start of Monday's practice.
Second-year defensive end Nick Bosa rejoined his teammates on the practice field. Dee Ford received some light work last week and was out there with Bosa on Monday.
Linebacker Dre Greenlaw, who returned last week after spending time in the concussion protocol, was no longer wearing a blue no-contact jersey.
General manager John Lynch said on Sunday that he was hopeful Brandon Aiyuk, Ben Garland, and Kyle Juszczyk would return to practice on Wednesday. One of those players was on the field ahead of schedule.
