According to Matt Barrows of the Sacramento Bee, tight end Billy Bajema re-signed with the 49ers on Friday. He agreed to a one-year deal.

If there was one significant turning point in the San Francisco 49ers' 17-11 win over the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday, it was most likely the unexpected goal line stand members of the defense produced after a 91-yard pass put their backs against the wall in the second quarter. Head coach Kyle Shanahan and general manager John Lynch have insisted that the San Francisco 49ers were interested in Trey Lance since they started scouting this year's rookie quarterback class. For Shanahan, that process started in January after last season ended. The 49ers traded up to the No. 3 overall pick and eventually selected Lance despite most in the media and around the league believing that the target was Mac Jones of Alabama. 49ers-Lions: Emmanuel Moseley and Javon Kinlaw not expected to play

The San Francisco 49ers could be without two defensive starters when they take the field in a couple of hours against the Detroit Lions. Neither cornerback Emmanuel Moseley nor defensive tackle Javon Kinlaw is expected to play. According to Matt Barrows of The Athletic, both are undergoing some pre-game rehab leading to kickoff.
