Jimmy Garoppolo made headlines last week after his impressive performance last Thursday night against the Arizona Cardinals. He also made a few headlines thanks to the way he ended his postgame interview with Erin Andrews.

The sideline reporter capped off the interview by asking the San Francisco 49ers quarterback how it feels to be 8-0.

"It feels great, baby," Garoppolo responded.

Garoppolo was asked about the interaction on Thursday during his weekly press conference.

"Yeah, I didn't expect it to blow up like that," Garoppolo responded. "It is what it is type of thing. But yeah, I was excited. 8-0, baby!"

Grant Cohn of the Santa Rosa Press Democrat asked if the response was because of a dare from his teammates or something.

"No. I say 'baby' like 500 times throughout a game, just to my teammates and stuff," Garoppolo answered while smiling. "It wasn't like that."
