Miller spent the 2017 offseason with the 49ers after being signed on January 13, 2017. He was part of a group of 13 players who were cut on May 2, 2017. Miller has never punted in an NFL game.
Miller was a punter for Southern Utah University and continues to receive work from NFL teams who are preparing to face a left-footed punter.
